What kind of music do you play at events?

I play all types of music from folk to jazz, classical to rock, Newfoundland trad and everything in between. I trained as both a jazz guitarist and a classical guitarist, so the range is real. We tailor the set to fit the room.

Can you play at my wedding?

Yes. Weddings are a regular part of my work. I play ceremonies and receptions, solo or with a duo or trio depending on the event. I do a mix of jazz standards, modern songs, and Newfoundland traditional, and I tailor the set to what you want. Contact me with the date and venue and I'll let you know if I'm available.

What ensemble options are available?

Accepted Answer

Solo guitar, duo (guitar plus a vocalist or second instrument), and the Brad Jefford Trio (guitar, bass, drums). Solo works well for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and intimate settings. The duo and trio are for receptions, dance sets, and bigger events. We can build a custom format if you have something specific in mind.

Do you travel outside St. John's?

Accepted Answer

Yes, anywhere in Atlantic Canada and beyond for the right event. Travel is built into the quote. For weddings or events outside the city, contact me with the date and location and I'll let you know what's possible.

How do I check your availability?

Accepted Answer

Send me an email or a phone call with the date, the venue, and a rough idea of what you're looking for (ceremony only, full reception, ensemble size). I'll get back to you within a couple of days. If a date is far out, the calendar is usually open. Closer dates fill up faster, especially summer Saturdays.
